Rugby Honours for Tom Banks
Comments:0

Our Graduate Surveyor, Tom, has enjoyed a fruitful summer outside the office on the rugby pitch. He firstly had the honour of captaining a successful Hertfordshire side all the way to the Bill Beaumont County Championship Final at Twickenham. Unfortunately, on the day they lost to a strong Lancashire outfit 32-16.

His performances earned him the opportunity to play for his country as he was selected for England Counties. The squad took part in tour of Romania playing local side CSM Bucuresti and two further games against Romania A. Tom was involved in all three games as England Counties came away unbeaten. In the process he also earned his first England Cap.

Tom plays for Bishop’s Stortford Rugby Football Club (BSRFC) who play in National 1. Weldon Beesly are proud sponsors of the club as they are a great community asset and harness opportunities to connect with other local businesses. Feel free to show your support the team as they embark on their second ever season in National 1. Fixtures will be put on the BSRFC website when they are published, keep yourself updated by following their website or on Twitter.
