About Me
I joined Weldon Beesly in November 2022 and work alongside the team as a freelance planning consultant.
I have some 40 years experience in planning both in local government and private practice working in development management, identifying opportunities and seeking to add value to Client’s properties. I also act for developers and landowners in carrying out site appraisals and obtaining planning permissions and lodge planning appeals on behalf of Clients.
My experience includes giving advice for large mixed use and residential schemes, town centre regeneration, negotiating s106 and planning obligations (including affordable housing), replacement and infill dwellings. I have worked on rural projects involving Green Belt issues and very special circumstances and I have considerable experience involving listed buildings and conservation areas.
I have previously worked with Carter Jonas, JB Planning Associates and Faulkners Chartered Surveyors as well as with Bedford Borough and St Albans District Council.
