About Me
Although not from a family farming background I was employed as a Farm Foreman on a 2,500 acre, farm in Hampshire before returning to Hertfordshire to run a 1,400 acre farm in Bishops Stortford. Following redundancy, I decided to change my career direction and went to Harper Adams where I completed a PgD in REAML.
For the last eighteen years I have specialised in compensation claims for landowners affected by Utility works including Rail, Road, Gas, Electric and Water. This can be anything from negotiating rent and licences for site compounds to finalising Deeds of Easements and all associated paperwork such as wayleaves and notices as well as agreeing compensation for remedial works & losses.
When not at work I enjoy playing golf and watch most other sports. I also enjoy gardening.
I am presently Branch Chairman of North Herts NFU and Hon. Secretary of Hertfordshire Machinery Club.
I also serve on the activities committee for the Hertfordshire Agriculture Society and volunteer for the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance.
